$14 Million Plus
In 2023, Developing Our Youth experienced tremendous success. The video captures a moment from one of our College Scholarship Fairs, where we distributed over $7 million in just two days. In total, we reached an impressive milestone of over $10 million across two fairs spanning three days in 2023.

2024 Gala
The evening featured live performances and exquisite cuisine. The individuals were honored for their 20 or more years of dedicated service to the community and the youth.

Bobcats Basketball
The program launched in March and continues until August while offering comprehensive training, fostering athletic skills, teamwork, and personal growth.

Partnerships
Developing Our Youth has partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters and Maywood Park District to provide mentorship and implement innovative youth programs.

2024 Civility Conference
The conference was held at South Suburban College and resulted in a resounding success. Thanks to the President, Chairman, and staff for allowing this opportunity.

Illinois Bobcats
Bobcats Basketball runs March through August. This year the Bobcats program had over 100 youth participants: consisting of 2 girls and 4 boys teams ranging from 12 to 18 years of age.

We Give Basketball Camp
We Give Basketball camp was an opportunity for youth to come together to address violence and come up with ways to fight against it. Over 100 youth participated from over 6 communities and 10 schools.

Developing Our Youth helped facilitate the awarding of 14 million dollars in scholarships to potential college students. Servicing over 500 youth participates at 3 fairs in 2 locations across Chicago.

Office of Education
Developing Our Youth has partnered with Illinois Senator Napoleon Harris to create a 15th District Office of Education. This office will provide the families in the 15th District with educational, therapeutic, recreational, and social services.
